Chariots of the Gods custom van and vintage camper show. August 16th and 17th 2014. At my shop’s big yard.
I really enjoy making these because the colors are so fun to play with. Finding the best color schemes that work well together. And they are relaxing and remind me of the days when I did the No-coast craft o rama.
He sent me the pan and stock foam. He liked the overall flow of the seat but wanted the seat foam lowered 1.5 inches. So I painted the pan and chopped the foam down. He also sent me a picture of a seat I did with white stitching and said “make it look like that. So I did. Thanks Jacob!
A seat I did for Indian motorcycles. They built the custom bike for the New York City International motorcycle show. Very heavy leather and all hand sewn.
I’ve been doing a lot of work for Victory motorcycles lately. Here are some pictures of a seat and tank I did for Nikki Sixx and Kerri Kasem.
I have had this shell chair for a couple years. I finally did something with it. Long ago I stripped it and scraped all the crumbling foam off. I made paper patterns off the original fabric pieces. These chairs are really neat, very well designed! Of course! I cut new pieces of foam for this chair and glued them down. Then made this slip cover for the chair off the patterns. I did my pinstripe stitching. I want to sell kits for these chairs for 4 new pieces of foam and a new vinyl cover like this. Maybe without the stitching, any color vinyl. The cover is not glued down or screwed in anywhere.
