1955 Ford Thunderbird interior redo. Thanks Royce!!

1955 Ford Thunderbird. Flame red and white pleats. Nice fifties style. I like the silver inserts on the doors,and how on thunderbirds one line of chrome most often swept through and around the entire enterior. Very nice. I added diamond jubilee silver metallic vinyl for the piping on the seats. I threw in some white pleated floor mats and pedal covers. Large back panel behind the seats hides a storage area and has hidde4n straps on top to pull it out.

Car number 2 I’ve done for Royce. For his wife actually.

This is for my old 57 plymouth. I knew when I sold it it was going to good people. I mentioned I wanted to do a Tiki scene on the back seat. Terra who I sold it to thought that sounded great. Well she finally brought the seat back for a redo. I showed her my copy of AKU-AKU by Thor Heyerdahl, about his exploration of Easter island. I think this captures some of the lonesome mystery of that far off island. Thanks Terra!

From absolute rotted out filth. Car sat in a barn in Wi. for 25 or more years. The seats were destroyed. Rusted to thin slices of metal. Lots of metal work was done to the frames. I replaced every spring in the seat backs. Redone to look as stock as possible in white leather. Back seats done and in the car. Door panels next. Thanks Lloyd!

They are building a 55 studebaker commander. White with green scallops. They asked me to make a trunk bag for the stude build. Trade the bag for an article in the mag about the constructing of the bag. You betcha. Bag is done and ready to be shipped out to California. Thanks Anna!

1971 CB750 seat redo

For Jonathan in Tennesse.He sent me just the bare pan. Looked like hell,all rusty.Cleaned it,painted it,rebuilt some of the side wall. Built the foam from the bottom up. Made new patterns,sewed the cover and upholstered. Dark grey thread. Ready to be boxed up and sent home.Thanks Jonathan!
